Interlock Lenses

Professional lenses with optimized locking screws.

All ZEISS Interlock® lenses offer exceptional image quality with high contrast for technical and industrial applications. They feature improved focus and aperture fixation and a rugged all-metal body. The lenses impress with their high imaging quality and precise manual focus. They are available with standard F-mount and standard M42 × 1 mount (45.5 mm flange focal length) for even more stability.

In the F-mount version, the aperture can be continuously adjusted using the de-click function, which enables precise exposure setting. The Interlock® family includes line sensors up to 43 mm (4 k – 8 k) or full format area sensors with 24 × 36 mm² (up to 42 Mpixel).

The ZEISS interlock lenses offer focal lengths from 15 mm to 135  mm and, together with the improved fixation, complete the lenses of the ZEISS Classic family.

Interlock Compact Lenses

Compact lenses for large image circles.

The family of Interlock® compact lenses from ZEISS impresses with its high and consistent image quality and precise manual focus. Due to the low weight paired with compactness and their robust full metal housing, the lenses are suitable for rough industrial use. The lens family features a short M42 × 1 mount (18 mm FFD) and user-friendly mounting screws that allow for precise iris and focus fixation.

They fit line scan cameras with 43 mm sensors (4 k – 8 k) and area scan cameras with full format sensors of 36×24 mm² (up to 42 Mpixel). The most striking difference between the Interlock® compact lenses and conventional F-mount types is the M42 × 1 connection with a very short flange focal distance (FFD) of just 18.0 mm.

These lenses are key components in complex production processes (machine vision) as well as in optical metrology, medical applications, traffic surveillance, quality assurance, sports and many other applications.

The models are also available with E-Mount.
