Eureca construction kit for optical experiments

Available Modules

Based on the application examples for our line scan cameras, we have developed a modular system for the simple construction of optical experiments that you can easily replicate yourself.

The modular system is based on aluminum profiles on which the optical components used can be placed in individual variably mounted modules. These modules can be made with a 3D printer and other inexpensive mechanical parts and modified if necessary. Alternatively, we also offer the modules for complete purchase if no 3D printer is available or if you want to avoid building your own. You can find more information about the idea behind our construction kit on the linked page.

As a rule, such a module consists of several building groups (BG), which can be used again and again in different modules. A module is basically made up of a base plate and the component holder, optionally supplemented by a spacer (as in this picture) or another auxiliary assembly.

Beispielmodul

Below is a list of the modules available so far. So far, this has been limited to the modules for building a Czerny-Turner spectrometer. However, this is gradually being expanded to include other modules in order to be able to carry out other optical experiments, such as diffraction or interference.

We are gradually making the step files for the 3D printed parts used in the modules available for download on our website.

A separate page with recommendations for suitable sources of supply for the individual parts used again and again, such as profiles, screws, 3D filaments and the like is in preparation.
