The lenses of the Linos MeVis-C series are suitable for use with the highest resolution CCD / CMOS sensors and offer an exceptionally high resolution across the entire image circle. With 1" sensors, for example, these resolve up to 200 Lp/mm even into the outermost corners of the image.
In addition, these lenses are characterized by low distortion, minimal drop in brightness and excellent chromatic correction over the wavelength range from 450–900 nm. The use of premium glass in conjunction with special coatings guarantee very good color rendering.
In addition, this lens series offers a high-quality mechanism with locking screws for focus and aperture, which prevents adjustment due to vibration or shock in harsh environments. The focus and aperture can be moved smoothly and evenly using the rubber knurl and thus adjusted precisely.

The lenses of the MeVis-CF series offer the highest imaging performance in a compact and robust housing.
The optical data are identical to the MeVis-C series, but the mechanics have been revised here in order to develop a lens that is as simple and robust as possible. The main difference to the MeVis-C variants is the fixed aperture, so that the lenses get by without moving parts. The compact design also enables use in applications with little space.

The MeVis-C/CF Traffic Lenses offer excellent color correction and thus prevent a focus offset between daylight and NIR illumination in the wavelength range around 850 nm. This avoids refocusing when changing between these different lighting conditions, as the focal plane remains identical. In addition, these lenses use the tried and tested mechanics of the MeVis-C and MeVis-CF lens series, which enables reliable use even in highly demanding industrial applications.
