5 Megapixel Lenses

This series of high resolution fixed focus lenses has been developed to meet the needs of advanced image processing systems. The lenses were optimized not only for highest imaging quality, but also for the hard and long-term industrial use.

The lenses are ideal for inspection, pattern recognition and object orientation applications. For large work surfaces, such as in wafer production and placement machines, the highest image sharpness from edge to edge is required.

The lenses support 5 megapixel cameras with 2/3″ sensors and offer a high resolution limit of 140 lp / mm from the center of the image to the extreme edges of the image, allowing sharp, high-resolution images with high contrast and low loss of resolution.

Ø 43 mm / 60 mm compact design

Matching many cases used by numerous 5 megapixel cameras, the outer diameter has been reduced to 43 mm and 60 mm, respectively. So these lenses are an excellent choice for connection to high performance systems.

Despite the small diameter of just 43 mm (or 60 mm on the FL-CC0814-5M), these lenses combine the high resolution of 5 megapixels with a brightness of F1.4. Since vignetting has been reduced to an absolute minimum, it is possible to reproduce bright and high-resolution images. In spite of the large picture angle, the transmission of the FL-CC0814-5M could be increased to at least 70 % even in the outermost corners of the picture. This produces images that are rich in contrast, clear and sharp over the entire image field.
