A high line rate and a large range of possible exposure times enable use in a variety of applications. The low price also makes the module interesting for research, teaching and the maker scene.

Easy control
A special »EasyAccess« DLL is available for our USB line scan camera modules, with which the cameras can be put into operation very quickly and controlled for simple applications.
The initialization of the camera, the recording as well as the transfer of the acquired sensor data is done with a few simple commands. This makes this DLL ideally suited for use with Python, but also with other programming languages. Our application examples for our line scan cameras, for example, were all realized with this »EasyAccess« DLL.
For more demanding, time-critical applications, the »EasyAccess« DLL naturally still contains all the conventional functions for controlling the line scan camera for programming with e. g. C++ or similar. The »EasyAccess«-DLL is available free of charge on request. Please contact us via e-mail if you are interested.
The line scan camera board presented here is the standard variant that was developed to cover as many price-critical applications as possible. For more demanding applications, the modules of the Professional series are available, which, in addition to better electronic data, also have an external trigger.

This module uses a sensor TCD1304DG, in which the standard cover glass has been replaced by a quartz glass (TCD1304DG-Q). This extends the sensitivity in the blue spectral range, in which the conventional glass material would otherwise absorb and in some cases also in the near UV. A special UV coating is available as a further option for a significant expansion of the spectral range into UV.
The cover glass is removed and the quartz glass is applied in-house at Eureca using specially developed processes. All sensors are tested for their function after replacing the cover glasses on the respective camera module.
Since the sensor is mounted on the module, it can easily be replaced by another sensor version if required. This can e. g. be the sensors in the standard version. But sensors only without a cover glass or sensors with special filters are also possible here.
After replacing the sensor, the module must be recalibrated. A special automatic program is available for this, which is included in the scope of delivery of the modules.
