Coatings

We offer a range of optical coatings to increase the quality of optical components. In addition to already coated substrates such as glass or quartz, these coatings can often also be applied to parts provided by the customer.

Depending on the type of coating, various filter and mirror characteristics can be realized.

The coated subrates are available in different standard sizes as well as in some commonly used frames. Other customer-specific dimensions as well as delivery in customer-specific plug-in or screw-type sockets are also possible. Please contact us if you are interested.

Hot Mirrors

These filters have a very high reflection in the range of about 700nm to 1100nm, while the visible spectral range is transmitted. They are often used at an angle of 45 degrees to deflect the unwanted radiation to one side.

Typical applications include:

  • Separation of heat and light
  • IR mirrors for diode lasers
  • IR filters for CCD/CMOS image sensors
  • Heat filters in measuring instruments

Cold Mirrors

Cold mirrors reflect visible light, while infrared radiation is transmitted from approximately 700nm upwards. In general, these filters are also used at an angle of incidence of 45°. The main application is to reduce the thermal load on light sources by separating light and heat.

Front Surface Mirror / Beam Splitters

Depending on the wavelength used, various coatings are available to realize different division ratios.

Anti reflective coatings

Again, different coatings for different wavelengths are available. We are happy to advise you in choosing the most suitable variant.
