Firewire cameras by ISG

The camera systems by ISG are high performance resp. ultra high performance camera systems with an attractive price-performance ratio. The connection of the camera to the PC is done by using the IEE1394.
ISG (INTEGRATED SOLUTION GROUP INC.) supplies a series of area & line scan cameras with global and synchronous/rolling shutter options. The cameras provide an on-board image buffer and a FPGA & processor for easy customization. Due to this they are very suitable for OEM applications and can be upgraded also in the field.

All camera controls are done through software. They provide a fully programmable dynamic range / gamma control LUT for any desired response curve. An opto-isolated I/O port can be used for triggering and strobe controls. User-programmable camera features include integration time, gain adjustments, offset, bit depth and data rate.

  • Very high frame rates in reduced regions of interest (Windows)

  • All cameras are compatible with National Instruments IMAQ IEEE-1394 driver, Vision Builder for Automated Inspection, & the Compact Vision System (CVS).

All area cameras feature Digital Pan & Zoom hardware or Motion-JPEG as an option. All cameras weigh 210 g, have a dimension of (HxWxL) 38mm x 51mm x 72mm and are powered via the 6-pin IEEE-1394 cable. Available are accessories as connection and trigger cables, IR cut filters and different software packages for capturing and recording images (e.g. ImageWarp and ActiveDCAM from A&B Software LCC).
