Lenses by Sill Optics

Sill Optics utilizes already since more than 40 years the benefit of telecentricity in optical projection systems. Especially for machine vision purposes these type of lenses offer big advantages over standard lenses. In this catalogue we have restructured our extraordinary variety of telecentric lenses into series with identical working distance and similar size. This allows the user a maximum flexibility with respect to camera size and magnification.

New on this website are lenses for CCD cameras up to 1” and larger. Most of the telecentric lenses can be provided with integrated coaxial illumination. The user can choose between two options: A coupling port for a lightguide (S5LPLxxxx) or a already integrated LED ( S5LPLxxxx/LED). We offer LEDs in the R, G, B range or NIR. The LED types are the same as used in the supertelecentric condensers.

  • Image Side Telecentric Lenses:

    The pages shows a selection of products by Sill Optics, which have normally a short delivery time. Informations about all other products of this manufacturer can be found in the Catalogoe of Sill Optics.

    The image side telecentric lenses find their place in machine vision, if very high demands on the homogeneity of the sensor illumination are required. Also angular sensitive components between sensor and lens (such as beamsplitters and filters) work only with low incoming angles of the light. We also recommend image side telecentric lenses in this case.

    Double Side Telecentric Lenses:

    Double side telecentric lenses are commonly used with line sensors, but also with large matrix CCD sensors. These type of lenses provide nominally zero distortion and will be used in highly demanding measuring systems. Lenses for line sensors up to 160 mm have been realized already by Sill Optics.

    Unique in its design is also the first real telecentric zoom lens by Sill Optics. The telecentricity is kept throughout the complete zoomrange from 0.5x..0.125x. In addition the distortion is always less than 1%.

    Brandnew is the aspheric version of the 30 mm condenser. This item achieves the same performance with only one precision asphere, which is matched to the angular distribution of the emitted light of the LED.

    CCD lens

    A variety of standard imaging lenses for CCD Cameras with C- or F-Mount rounds up our program. For nearly any application from UV to IR a suitable lens can be found in this catalogue. The range cover from very low f-number macrolenses to long distance telelenses; wideangle - and zoomlenses complete the list. The catalogue is structured in different resolution categories, to comply with the cost requirements of the customers. Special design for any application will be made in house along with prototyping and series production.
